  • Demonstrated interest and active involvement in educational administration or policy.

Full Members are qualified educational administrators engaged in day-to-day strategic or operational leadership within schools, educational agencies, government ministries, NGOs, or related organizations.

  • Requires a formal qualification in education, educational leadership, or a related field (bachelor’s degree minimum) and/or significant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated engagement in educational administration practices and commitment to professional development.

  • Full voting rights in general meetings and elections.

SENIOR MEMBER N4,000

Senior Members are experienced educational administrators who have demonstrated leadership, professional competence, and commitment to advancing educational administration practice.

Criteria

  • Recommended for professionals with significant operational or strategic leadership experience (e.g., senior school heads, directors, policymakers).
  • Proven impact on institutional performance, administrative systems, or educational improvement initiatives.
  • At least 5–10 years of demonstrated practice in roles with administrative responsibility.

  • Eligibility to participate in advanced professional forums, committees, and leadership workshops.
🎖
FELLOW (FWASEA / FWASEA) N5,400

Fellowship is awarded to distinguished education leaders who have demonstrated sustained excellence and significant impact in educational administration, policy leadership, research, or strategic educational development in West Africa. Fellows are recognized as senior thought leaders and role models within the profession.

Criteria

  • Typically requires at least 10–15 years of leadership experience in strategic educational administration.
  • Documented record of transformative contributions to educational systems, policy reforms, institutional development, or research.
  • Evidence of scholarly, managerial, or governance impact beyond routine duties, including regional or international engagement.
  • Nominations may come from peers, existing Fellows, or the Association’s Membership Committee.

Benefits

  • Post-nominal title (e.g., Fellow of WAASEA / FWASEA).
  • Eligibility to serve in senior governance roles (e.g., Board, Council).
  • Special privileges at Association events and strategic forums.
